#shattered #notbroken #broken #perseverance #hardwork Rev. AL Hollie, Jr. is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. It was through his mother’s perseverance and hard work, that Al Hollie received an example of hard work and focus in life. Al Hollie received his education from the Atlanta Public Schools System and is a 1997 graduate of Frederick Douglass High School. It was during his time of rearing as a young man in Atlanta, Georgia that he received the call to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He preached his first sermon during his junior year of high school at the Word of God Ministries. Against many socioeconomic odds, he received a college education from the University of Alabama where he received a Bachelors of Science Degree in Education. After being an exemplary football player for the Douglass High Astros, then he went on to play football for the Alabama Crimson Tide. Early in his college career, Al Hollie accepted the mandate on his life to be a committed vessel toward preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Furthermore, he was heavily involved in campus ministries such as Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) and multiple Christian initiatives. Shortly after graduating from the University of Alabama, Allen began his mission to study Theology and Christian Education in order to be fully equipped with the mandate placed on his life by God. He truly exceeded in his post graduate studies and obtained a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Theology, Master of Arts in Leadership, and is currently a candidate for a Masters of Divinity from Luther Rice University and Seminary. In conjunction with his Christian studies, he obtained a Masters of Arts in Educational Leadership. His faithfulness and commitment to the Lord’s plan has evolved him into a life of servant hood for Christ. His passion for the development of young people in all areas of their life is seen throughout his daily walk. Al Hollie formerly served the youth of Atlanta, Georgia as a teacher and football coach in the Atlanta Public Schools at B.T. Washington High School, Frederick Douglass High School, and Bethune Middle School of DeKalb County School system.
